These bookshelves in oak wood were built for stanza (a programme and studio for critical graphic design & publishing) in Copenhagen on the occasion of the exhibition A Library of Muses. All boards used in the shelf come from planks of an oak tree that was roughly 100 years old. The lower self-standing shelf (114 x 94.5 x 33 cm) is assembled of horizontal and vertical boards, joined by wooden dowels, tenons, and mortises. The long shelf board (240 x 33 cm) leans against a wall, it is assembled of several smaller boards that are held together by long beams.
